<p>In the never-ending journey of information and communication technology, internet continues to be the most rewarding boon for people all around the world. Internet is now the best media for disseminating information, promoting business, establish and maintain communication and do a host of other things that other media can not do. In the cyber world, websites and web pages are the primary media by which we interact with internet. Creating attractive websites by a decent yet effective website design or more specifically, webpage design is very important to attain the site’s objectives. Today, creating an attractive and interactive website is no more confined to the domain of professionals and computer geniuses. For more information logon to www.instant-squeeze-page-mastery.com .There are thousands of ready-to-go web page templates for creating a good website. Initially the templates were mostly based on Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML). With the advent of newer web technologies, there are different types of templates today. Dynamic HTML (DHTML) templates, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) templates, JavaScript templates, Flash web site templates, Macromedia Dream weaver templates are some of the most familiar ones to mention. There are hundreds of web sites that offer free templates which are fully functional. But most of the professional web site templates usually come with a price.</p>
<p>Web page design or web site design is a very important step in creating a successful and attractive website. It is the web page design and interface that draws the attention of the internet users and thus increases the traffic to a particular web site. The next important point is the functionality of the site. Website designing should be such that visitors can effectively interact with the features provided in the different web pages of the website. Keeping these two important factors in mind, web page templates are created by professional programmers or web designers.</p>
<p>With the increasing use of internet in all spheres of our life, especially in trade and commerce, website designing has become more important. To suit the requirements of web based activities, newer applications and software have been invented. With the help of these applications or software, scripts are written and incorporated in the web page templates. Today’s websites have stunning web pages with extremely appealing interfaces. The web pages include text, graphics, animation, sound, movies, forms, polls, hit counters and many other features. Macromedia (now owned by Adobe) brought out the legendary and highly popular file format ‘Flash’ that can play animations, movies, sounds, slideshows or other types of contents in web pages. Due to very attractive look, design and diversity of Flash files (with extensions .swift, .flay etc), Macromedia Dream weaver – a web developing software – soon became extremely popular. Dream weaver is basically used for web related publications. Today in the internet, Flash website templates are already available in abundance. Besides Macromedia’s software suit, Flash files and Flash web site templates are prepared by many third party software and applications. Macromedia Dream weaver though remains to be the best software that integrates Flash files besides other type of templates like, HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, JavaScript, XML etc. Dream weaver templates are truly professional templates. Many of the internet’s top website designs are based on Dream weaver templates. For more information logon to www.master-web-graphics.com .There are many fully functional free Dream weaver templates available for download. These free templates they may lack in customizing abilities. On the other hand professional web page templates made of Dream weaver’s diverse features are generally very charming and they make your website look great. These professional Dream weaver web page templates may be attached with a small price tag. But their quality looks, attractive features and customizability make them templates worth paying for.</p>

<p>Why would you build a website that can&#8217;t be seen by the search engines? Why would you pay for a website that can&#8217;t be found in the search engines?</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>The web designer&#8217;s answer would go something like this “I&#8217;m here to design, you want optimization you goto an <a rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" href="http://www.northsouthmedia.co.uk/">SEO Company</a>”. The client will only trigger when the promised leads or sales from the new website never come-to-pass. Things are changing however, more and more designers are switching on to offering their paying clients search engine friendly websites. So, we&#8217;re making a little headway. We now have designers that actually want to give their sites a helping hand when they release them into the World Wide Web.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>But here&#8217;s the rub. Most designers have read a few pages from a few websites and suddenly they know everything about Search Engine Optimization. In fact they know so much that they&#8217;ll even promote the service on their websites and suddenly we&#8217;re back to the bad old days again. So tell me, I hear you ask, what can I expect from a “Search Engine Friendly Website”? Read on and I&#8217;ll tell you what you should &#8211; at the very least &#8211; expect and look for when buying this service from a web design company.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Validation: The first check is to make sure the website validates under any of the W3C Validation certificates. This check makes sure that the HTML written to design your site is valid and any visiting search engine bot or spider can cleanly access all the content and links contained within.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Title Tags: Your designer should make sure that all title tags are themselves unique. Whether your site is static or dynamic, it is of the utmost importance to have unique title tags for each page. Sites that have similar title tags will find search engines like Google placing their pages in their Supplemental Index (not a good place to be). Another hint with title tags is don&#8217;t place your company name at the beginning. Importance of this position belongs to the most prominent keyword phrase of your page not your company&#8217;s brand name.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Semantic Markup: All main headings should use the Heading1 tag and sub-headings the Heading2. These can be styled using CSS .</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Images, Flash, Frames, Counters and Animated Gifs: A brief description on the alt tag to describe an image is best for those that use screen-readers. Never design 100% Flash based sites – your textual content won&#8217;t be found and neither will you. If your a paying client and your designer is using frames, counters and animated gifs on your site then stop the payment now and get a new designer. If your a designer using frames, counters and animated gifs on a site – ahem, where you been buddy?</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Javascript: Make sure all Javascript is called from its own file – if it is on-page or in-line Javascript make sure the page validates. Spiders have a tendency to get caught in Javascript and will eventually give up trying to crawl your site.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Site Maps: Site maps are a great way to get all your pages indexed with the search engines. A site map can be designed in various forms: it can be HTML based and a page in your website; can be created in Notepad by placing each URL of your site into a new line and submitted to the search engines; can be quickly created in XML from numerous sites on the web and for free – just type “XML Site Map” into Google.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Content: Content is still King. However, make sure all spelling is correct and grammar as well. Never trust a firm that wants to use your keyword any more than is naturally normal on a site – this is known as Spamming and will do you more harm than good. If your web company tries to use hidden content in your site by whatever means: text colour the same as the background; using CSS to not render text to the screen; stuffing keywords into the noscript tags then ask for your money back – this is illegal and will get you blacklisted from the search engines.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>So my advice is research those web design companies that offer “<a rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" href="http://www.northsouthmedia.co.uk/seo_services.html">SEO Services</a>”. Ask them questions relating to the advice above – if they falter on any then move on as they spell professional with two f&#8217;s.</p>
<div style="margin:5px;padding:5px;border:1px solid #c1c1c1;font-size: 10px;">
<p>Paul Steven is a partnet in North south Media a leading Scottish based <a rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" href="http://www.northsouthmedia.co.uk/">Internet Marketing Company</a>.</p>

		</div>
<p>The pace of business today is positively supersonic. There doesn’t seem to be enough time for anything anymore, and businesses of all sizes are working harder and faster all the time.</p>
<p>It’s important to work smarter, too. And that means when you have to choose an important vendor for an essential service, you need to slow down and make a deliberate, careful decision. This is particularly important when you are getting ready to put your company’s face on the World Wide Web in a new or newly-refurbished web site.</p>
<p>Before listing the ten key things to look for in a good web designer, let’s define a few terms. Even though you may encounter variants on the name – like web developer, web artist, webmaster and so forth – we’re talking about an individual who, alone or with some assistance, is going to “get you up and running.” This means more than simple design.</p>
<p>You may need someone who can help you conceive and write copy. You may need someone who can plan smart site structure. You may need help getting a domain registered, files uploaded, e-mail accounts set up, and other technical details. You will definitely need someone who can do just about anything, or quickly find out how, or have an associate who can at the ready.</p>
<p>With these caveats, and serious encouragement to shop around for price and professionalism, here are the ten things to look for, in rough order of importance:</p>
<p>1) Experience<br />You will need someone with all the techniques, tools and tricks that will help you prepare your web site and accomplish your online goals. You should confirm that the candidate knows the entire alphabet soup of protocols, web markup languages and coding utilities: HTML, XML, CSS, PHP and so on. Ask all prospects for a portfolio, ask if they can “hand code,” find out how many years of experience each has, etc.</p>
<p>When you interview designers, on the phone and/or in person, you will get these answers swiftly enough. But take due time to get more important insights as to the individual’s character, level of expertise – and how well your personalities mesh. You will be working closely together, after all.</p>
<p>2) Customer service orientation<br />As important as experience is a mindset and attitude of making customer service a priority. If a designer/developer is too busy to answer e-mails or phone calls, will they be able to keep the production schedule? Ask for references, and make a point of actually calling them. Ask the prospect’s previous clients if the web developer was responsive, on time and effective.</p>
<p>3) Original copy and graphics<br />Creating professional and 100% original web graphics separates the adults from the kids every time. Most anyone can do some “quick and dirty” copy writing and slap it on a page with some pictures and hyperlinks. On the other hand, a talented and veteran designer will demonstrate knowledge of page layout, have a way with color and know how to place elements on a page for best appearance and web site performance. Take a good look at a number of the sites each prospect has built, and make sure no one is using “templates” or “starter pages” that come with some software programs or are available (even free) on the Internet.</p>
<p>4) Creativity<br />You need to decide right away (before you even start talking to designers) just how much the designer you find will be involved in the conceptual process. Your designer may need to help you with some of the “big picture” questions, such as marketing, web copy writing (for search engines) and how to generate traffic. You want someone creative, but not a “diva” who won’t follow instructions or work with your ideas to bring them to fruition.</p>
<p>5) Marketing experience<br />The easiest way to find out if your prospective web designers are good at marketing web sites is to view their site and their portfolio.  That you are considering selecting them to design you site is a good first indicator that their designs convert.  You&#8217;ll further want to insure that you can find what you&#8217;re looking for on their site quickly and easily and that you can do the same on some of the sites in their portfolio.</p>
<p>6) Cost<br />Pricing for a professional web site of 10-15 pages with the standard features runs all the way from $500 to $5000. It may be that your idea is so complicated that you might have to pay for an estimate. For a full picture of all the costs involved in the project, ask for all the costs to be broken out individually – domain name and hosting, graphic design work, marketing fees and web development matters.</p>
<p>You may need to place a deposit if the job is large enough, and you should have all payment terms worked out before work starts. You can work out an hourly rate, a flat fee or some combination of the two. Leave nothing unstated or assumed: Get every detail in writing, including deadlines and how many revisions are included. </p>
<p>7) Job timeline<br />After you ask the developers how long the process will take, make a point of asking references if the project was, in fact, completed on time. A basic web site may take as little as a week, while more involved and technically challenging sites could take a month or more. You need to know what the real-world turnaround time is for the specific people you are considering.</p>
<p> <img src='http://designerhub.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif' alt='8)' class='wp-smiley' /> Communication skills<br />Don’t hire anyone who insists on speaking to you in “computer-ese” or won’t explain unknown terminology. You have to communicate with this person about things that are important to your very survival, so you need to be clear at all times. If you cannot establish a good working relationship, it won’t matter if you have Leonardo Da Vinci working on your code, it just won’t work out.</p>
<p>9) Full service<br />There may be one or two things that your designer/developer cannot do, but for the most part you should be able to find a reasonably-priced professional who can handle just about everything. If the designer needs help installing a particularly complicated shopping cart, or your site requires some heavy database programming, it is reasonable to expect that your designer might need some assistance. All of this should be spelled out in the pricing, of course (see #6, above), and you should never be surprised by anything your designer is telling you. If you are, you overlooked something in this list!</p>
<p>10) Availability<br />Are these prospects full-time web professionals? Or are they moonlighting from some other job, even a completely unrelated one? It may be that a part-time web designer who’s working at McDonald’s really can do a great job for you, but will he/she be available to meet with you during normal business hours? No matter what decision you make – full-time pro, part-timer or student – you must be able to get hold of your designer.</p>
<p>Finally, do you homework before speaking with anyone. You don’t need to be an expert – after all, you’re hiring help, because you’re not – but you need to know enough to know what you’re hearing. If you are uncertain of your own ability to keep on top of what’s going on, get a friend with at least basic web knowledge to help you locate, interview and assess candidates.</p>
<p>Use all of this “head” knowledge to narrow down your list of candidates, but don’t be afraid to use your intuition (“heart” knowledge) to get a feel for each person’s honesty, integrity and character. Using this mix of study, inquiry, discussion ,and feel, you will start to develop judgments about the candidates. Following this procedure thoroughly should result in your finding a good match for your Internet needs.</p>

			</a>
		</div>
<p>For <a rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" href="http://www.pixelproductionsinc.com/graphic_design.php">graphic designers</a> who are new to <a rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" href="http://www.pixelproductionsinc.com/website_design.php">web design</a> this article will provide some very useful tips to optimize your websites and images to maintain a visually dynamic website without slow load times.</p>
<p>Everyone should want a website that is attractive, engaging, and easy to navigate. More often than not, you can spot websites that were created by graphic designers and sites that were created by programmers. Generally speaking a website created by a graphic designer will be visually engaging but is probably not <a rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" href="http://www.pixelproductionsinc.com/seo.php">Search Engine Friendly</a>, while a programmer&#8217;s site will be set up beautifully with CSS streamlined for Search Engines and quick load times. For obvious reasons the best websites are usually created by a team of professionals working in tandem. </p>
<p>It sure seems to me that most people designing websites have an &#8220;either or&#8221; attitude, either it looks good but loads slow or you focus on code and appear more generic. I&#8217;ve seen plenty of websites that contradict this thinking and I personally believe every website should be visually stunning and streamlined for search engines and download time. Every year less people are using dial up to connect, however there are too many to ignore. I really don&#8217;t worry too much about dial up users anymore, because most of the websites I design are targeted at fairly web savvy searchers. However, just because I don&#8217;t worry about dial up doesn&#8217;t mean that I can neglect to streamline my websites for its users.</p>
<p>This article will provide some quick and useful tips on how graphic designers new to web design can optimize websites and images and still keep them looking hot. If you&#8217;re just starting out then you&#8217;re probably not going to know a lot about CSS. No worries! Just start designing your layout in Photoshop. A good document size to start with would be 950 pixels wide by 600 pixel high set to RGB at 300 dpi. When you&#8217;ve created the layout that you want you are ready to slice up your document and export it as an html document with an image folder. </p>
<p>1. In Photoshop you can use the slice tool and manually create slices organized in rows and columns for Dreamweaver or drag &#8220;guides&#8221; where you want to slice your page and just click the &#8220;slice from guides&#8221; button at the top of the Photoshop menu bar. Note: you can combine slices by shift clicking multiple slices then holding down the control key and clicking to select combine slices. (You can define your text and background colors easily in Dreamweaver).</p>
<p>The image below is an example of how I sliced this Photoshop document up.</p>
<p>a. Hold down shift + option + command + s to export the slices. Click &#8220;Save&#8221; and then select export html and images.</p>
<p>b. Open all of your images in Fireworks and resave them at 80% quality and jpg format. Now you have nice looking images that have a small file size and are easy to load.</p>
<p>2. Another quick tip is to learn to set up your web pages using .php includes. </p>
<p>The basic set up for a php page is a &#8220;header&#8221;, &#8220;body&#8221; and &#8220;footer&#8221;. In a nutshell what we are doing is breaking one complete html page into three separate html files and letting the server put them back together as one complete page. Why would we do this? We do this, because there are many beneficial advantages to creating your pages this way. For example if your navigation is in the header document and you need to make a change to your navigation you only need to do it once, not for every page. Also the server loads your images once and not for every page which makes your site quicker to load and use.</p>
<p>a. In Photoshop you proceed the same way using the slice tool or guides to  create slices organized in rows and columns for Dreamweaver. Except this time you are turning the one file in the example shown previously into (3) separate files. Break your main Photoshop document into three sections, a header, the body, and the footer. Label each Photoshop document accordingly. Samples shown below.</p>
<p><strong>Header File:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Body File:</strong></p>
</p>
<p><strong>Footer File:</strong></p>
<p>b. Hold down shift + option + command + s to export the slices as html and images for each of the three Photoshop documents.</p>
<p>c. Your head document named: &#8220;header.html&#8221; change to &#8220;header.php&#8221;</p>
<p>d. Replace the   and information found at the top of your &#8220;index.html&#8221; page with this simple code: <br />include(&#8220;header.php&#8221;);?&gt;</p>
<p>e. Replace the / tag found at the very bottom of your page with the following footer include.<br />include(&#8220;footer.php&#8221;);?&gt;</p>
<p>Note: Re-save the &#8220;body&#8221; which is your index.html as index.php<br />Note: You will need to upload these files to preview the entire page, but on the positive if you use these same header and footer tags on the rest of your pages your website only needs to load the header and footer images one time making  your site display much quicker. This idea works with background images as well (if you re-use the images they only have to load once).</p>
<p><strong>Reference #1:</strong><br /> Here is what the basic html looks like in the header.html file:<br /> These brackets {} used in place coding of actual code for placement purposes only.</p>
<p> {html}<br /> {head}<br /> {title}Your Title Goes Here{title}<br /> {table}<br /> {table}</p>
<p><strong>Reference#2:</strong><br /> Here is what the basic html looks like in the index.php file:</p>
<p> {?php<br /> include(&#8220;header.php&#8221;);?}</p>
<p> {body}<br /> {table}<br /> {table}<br /> {?php<br /> include(&#8220;footer.php&#8221;);?}</p>
<p><strong>Reference#3:</strong><br /> Here is what the basic html looks like in the footer.php file:</p>
<p> {body}<br /> {html}</p>
<p> When you upload these files and images the server will put them together as one complete page. Now you can create new pages and content and keep your header and footer information the same using the header and footer includes.</p>

		</div>
<p>
<p><strong>Introduction</strong></p>
<p>In this article we are going to look at the benefits of using Webworx24 to design, build and maintain your website. The multi stages underline the advantages and the added extras available to customers from a very cheap web design company that is unique and incredibly skilled.</p>
<p><strong>Why should you choose Webworx24 to build your website?</strong></p>
<p>For way too long the Internet has failed to treat websites like other products. You&#8217;re faced with a time-consuming DIY task to grind out a website that looks homemade &#8211; or you&#8217;re stuck with preset templates. Commission a website designer privately and you have to pay a fortune then shell out more for them to update your site. At WebWorx24, there&#8217;s no DIY, no 4 figure invoices and no technical or programming skills required to get precisely the website you need. Just tell them what you want and the designers create, publish and host an affordable and flexible new website within 48 hours using an award-winning web studio system.</p>
<p><strong>What do the web design packages include?</strong></p>
<p>Webworx24 are focused on providing affordable web design packages that come with everything you need to get your site live on the internet and attracting customers for you to take advantage of.</p>
<p>1, Domain name</p>
<p>All Webworx24 websites come with either a .co.uk or a .com domain name, which is fully managed and linked to your website. If you already own the domain name you wish to use, they will manage that domain name for you and help you to link your domain name to your new site.</p>
<p>2, Pop3 email addresses</p>
<p>Depending on the package you choose, you are offered between 2 and ten pop3 email addresses to use alongside your domain name. <strong>POP3</strong> email services enable you to store your <strong>emails</strong> on a remote server, and download it at any time. Webworx24 will give you step by step instructions of how to use your free webmail to start sending and receiving your emails, guide you through setting up your pop3 email addresses on your Microsoft Outlook or give you advise on forwarding your emails to any other service you are interested in using.</p>
<p>3, Hosting</p>
<p>When hiring a private designer you can become naive to the real costs that are involved, especially when you are not told about the full costs up front. One of the main extra costs a lot of people come across is hosting. Hosting is a type of Internet service that allows individuals and organisations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Webworx24’s <a rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" href="http://www.webworx24.co.uk/">cheap website design</a> packages include hosting in the monthly costs, so you won’t be billed extra further down the line.</p>
<p>4, Registration to search engines</p>
<p>Webworx24, not only design, build and maintain your website for you, they also support you when it comes to marketing your website. Webworx24 will register you to Google, Yahoo and MSN search engines and provide you with an SEO guide to help you further your knowledge of what you can do to improve your website.</p>
<p>5, Monthly Alterations</p>
<p>When your website is built and you are completely happy with the end result, it is unrealistic to expect you will stay that way. Further down the line you may want to alter text, add new images, and possibly change the whole look and feel of your website. The costs of hiring a designer to make simple changes can be extortionate and that is why Webworx24’s <a rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" href="http://www.webworx24.co.uk/">cheap web design</a> strategy is admirable, the monthly fees starting at £15 per month include alterations you may want to make to your site, all you need to do is contact your designer and your changes will be made within 24hours.</p>
<p>6, Web 2.0</p>
<p>Webworx24 may have an <a rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" href="http://www.webworx24.co.uk/">affordable web design</a> strategy; however their web sites and the effort put in from employees is far from cheap. The software used by Webworx24 allows web 2.0 functionalities. Web 2.0 is a trend in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aims to aid creativity, information sharing, and, particularly, collaboration among users. These concepts have led to the development and evolution of web-based communities and hosted services, such as social-networking sites, wikis, blogs, and folksonomies. </p>
<p>7, Costs</p>
<p>Webworx24’s cheap website design packages have a one off set up fee of either £49.99 or £69.99 depending on the package you choose, and then a monthly fee of £15, £30 or £40 per month. The monthly fee enables Webworx24 to completely manage your website for you and so the stress, confusion, time wasting and huge bills that are likely to be present if you decide to build your site yourself or hire a private designer to build are completely eliminated.</p>
<p>
<p> document.write(getResources()); </p>
<p> </p>
<div style="margin:5px;padding:5px;border:1px solid #c1c1c1;font-size: 10px;">
<p>?Sophia is head of the <a rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" href="http://www.webworx24.co.uk">cheap web design</a> team at WebWorx24.co.uk. She specializes in <a rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" href="http://www.webworx24.co.uk">affordable web design</a> for small business.?</p>

If your website is compatible with every browser your market can truly be global.</p>
<p>&#13;Texas web designers offer custom web design and help with existing websites. They do not use templates to build a website, unless a client has a specific template in mind, rather they build them from scratch. In most cases websites built through these companies are custom made to suit the individual needs of every customer. If you want your online business to succeed it needs to be unique and not look like any other company on the internet. Custom web design is crucial to create a credible image for your business.</p>
<p>&#13;Many web designers specialize in designing the technical aspects of web sites including navigation, interactive features, and html tags, but they have no idea what type of content is best for a website. Some web designers will copy and paste another website&#8217;s content onto the site they are building, which will not be beneficial for your website. Copying other web content is plagiarism and is illegal, and it can cause you to loose credibility, have trouble getting ranked high, and can even cause you legal trouble. These problems can be devastating to the success of any website, unless you know how to write original content that will make your website successful. Texas web designers know how to create unique content for every site they work on ensuring that your website will build credibility, offer something of value to your users, and will show up in search engines.</p>
<p>&#13;Using Texas web designers will help your website to survive in the competitive online world of business. If your website is not performing well or you want to see even bigger profits you can rely on this type of company to provide unique content and increase your website&#8217;s functionality. Web designers know how to set a website apart from the thousands of competing websites in the global market. It can be impossible to survive and compete on the internet today unless you hire a professional.</p>

<p>Designing a website has so much more to it than most people realize. The end result is almost always very aesthetically pleasing, functional, and runs pretty smoothly. The amount of blood, sweat, and tears that go into each website to get it to that point of bliss can be crazy, and here are ten of the many causes for designers to pull their hair and kick their desks.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
#10: Fonts. From suddenly not displaying properly to font folders magically losing their system properties, sometimes the hassle required to implement specific fonts just doesnt seem worth it. And woudnt it be nice to have an unlimited number of fonts to choose from?</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
#9: Tables vs. CSS for Web design. Sure, sometimes CSS can need some tweaking (what doesnt?) but most people agree that tables tend to be easier, but not always better. </p>
<p>&#13;<br />
#8: Compliance Issues. Whether we are talking about fonts or graphics, what works with one browser may or may not work with fonts and graphics that may or may not work with some other browser, which leads us to issue #7.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
#7: Browsers. Time and time and time again, across the boards are oodles of complaints about browsers. This one doesnt work with this and that one doesnt work with that. Refer back to #8.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
#6: Lack of standardizations. Wouldnt it be nice if every webpage played nice with every other webpage? Were talking about microformats, here.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
#5: Flash. It is much more restrictive than the open HTML format, and it does not operate well with many browser features, such as the back button. Refer to #8 above.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
#4: Fixed vs. Liquid Layouts: Depending on the purpose of the content in the site, its all about widths and control, or a lack thereof.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
#3: Balance between how the website looks and how the website works. Sure, everyone enjoys a colorful, fun to look at website, but if SEO consultants are smoking from their ears, it may be a sign that pretty might not mean productive. See #2.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
#2: Keeping the peace between graphic designers and SEO professionals. Enough said, see #3 above.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
And, the #1 Sticky Issue when it comes to Web design is: FORMS. Across the board for years, forms continue to be a main and almost universal frustration in the world of Web Design. The lack of style ability and trying to make them consistent across browsers is enough to send anyone into hysterics. </p>
<p>&#13;<br />
So, the next time you are surfing the Internet, think about everything that has to come together behind the nice LCD panel that is sitting in front of you, so go ahead and slap your I heart Web designers bumper sticker on the backside of your car.</p>

<p>Of all of the different kinds of programs on the market today, many people feel that Microsoft&#8217;s recently released ASP.NET blogging software is the most advanced. In many ways, this particular program is more adaptable and more versatile than any other blogging software on the market. Although most of the people who favor the program are accomplished coders who are familiar with programming languages like html and C++, this new program from Microsoft is much easier to use than a lot of other blog design software that incorporates hands-on coding. One of the things that makes ASP.NET stand apart from its competitors is the fact that it allows designers to use a wide variety ofprogramming languages when they build a blog. This means that a larger number of coders can realize their dreams by programming in the language with which they are most familiar and in which they are most accomplished. A lot of people have welcomed ASP.NET blogging software with enthusiasm and with open arms. However, that doesn&#8217;t mean that the ASP.NET program is right for everybody. If you are not familiar with computer languages like javascript or perl, you may find that the release of ASP.NET does not directly affect you at all. However, if you are an experienced web designer, you are likely to find much to celebrate in this exciting new program.
